Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to be able to complete the order.
We accept card payments online or direct bank transfer (BACS). If you wish to make a purchase from outside the United Kingdom please email or call to arrange a shipping quotation.
We accept Visa Cedit and Debit cards, and MasterCard. A fee of 2% is applied to trade customers who wish to pay by credit card or non UK debit card, no fee for UK debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Backorder items will be added to your next order.
BACS payments to Bisque Direct, For orders placed in Pounds(£) please make payments to the UK Pounds (£).For orders placed in Euro(€) please make payment to the EURO (€).

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake on our copy of the order.
Minimum order value £50 excluding VAT and delivery.
Bisque Direct supply Paint Your Own Ceramics studios with a large range of bisque products in relatively small volumes per item. Bisque Direct are happy to supply finished work producers to the same volume of each item.
Finished work producers who require large quantities of a particular item will need to order stock alongside our container ordering schedule. Please call to discuss your requirements. We reserve the right to ammend or reject any order where a high volume (more than 6 cartons) of any one shape is ordered.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping costs are based on the total weight of your order and delivery method selected.
Pallet and Courier costs are for accesable post codes - Up to zone 3 of our transport companies rate card.
If you think your delivery location is somewhat remote please contact us to confirm the delivery charge.
All bisque orders are best shipped on a pallet. Bisque Direct will subsidise pallet delivery costs for orders over £300 (shown as Subtotal in the shopping cart). Additional subsidised delivery for orders over £600 and £1000 (both shown as Subtotal in the shopping cart). Please see options for your location when checking out.
This is the best way to ship bisque items. For all standard (excluding Next Day) pallet deliverys Bisque UK can arrange delivery on a Book In basis. The transport company will call you to arrange a suitable day for delivery. This ensures customers know when the pallet delivery will be arriving. This Book In service however can delay the delivery by a day or two. Please let us know when placing the order if you would like Book In or not for the pallet delivery. Best way to do this is to put a note in the Special Instructions box when selecting your required delivery method during Checkout.
Recommended maximum order value per pallet is £1200.00. Items sent on pallet are insured and any damage or breakages will be replaced on the next order. Please send photographs of all damaged items to [email protected] along with your business name.
COURIER - 30kg limit per shipment
All bisque is packed in cardboard boxes using bubble bags as cushion. Courier deliveries are a great way to receive small emergency orders. Some items are not recommened for courier orders - please read item descriptions. These are generally large and/or fragile items or ones with vulnerable protruding parts.
Courier is not the ideal shipping method for such fragile items as ceramics. Bisque Direct do not recommend sending bisque by courier but will do so, as long as customers accept the fact that breakages may occur. The courier companies do not guarantee safe delivery and only carry bisque items if Bisque Direct accept that breakages may occur. If breakages occur Bisque Direct will provide a credit for those items with your next order. Please note Bisque Direct will not send replacement items, unless customers pay the delivery cost. Bisque Direct will not refund the cost of broken items. Always ensure you order more than you need in case breakages occur. For damaged items please provide photographs of the items by email to [email protected]
All delivery drop off times are 9am till 6pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure someone is avaiable at the delivery address to receive and sign for your order. If you're unable to receive your order in this time window you must notify Bisque Direct by email before your order is dispatched. Timed or special deliveries will be quoted according to each individual requirement. Timed or special deliveries must be agreed in writing with Bisque Direct and additional charges paid prior to shipping your order.
Delivery Schedule - We process your order right away. We will normally dispatch your order within 1 to 3 business days depending on size and whether all items are in stock.
Imported bisque items that are out of stock will be notified to you on order acceptance.
You must inform us within 5 working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit. Please quote your business name in all correspondence. For damaged items please provide a photograph of the items via email to [email protected]
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we can back order for you. You must specifically request that items be put on back order. Back order items will be added to your next order if they are in stock.
Tax Charges - For orders delivered within the UK, 20.0% VAT is added.
For orderes delivered to other EU member states 20.0% VAT is added unless an EU VAT number is supplied.
For EU VAT registered businesses items are delivered VAT free however Bisque Direct must be supplied with a valid EU VAT number prior to issuing an invoice. This will remove VAT from the invoice.
For EU member states outside the UK we do not charge VAT however you will still need to pay VAT to your VAT collection authority. For UK businesses purchasing from other EU states the same applies. VAT is not charged by the supplier but must be paid to the UK Customs and Excise (VAT office) via box 2 on your VAT return. This also applies to business on a flat rate VAT scheme.
VAT is thus an even playing field accross the EU.
The credit card numbers you supply us with are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

You may return the items to us in its original packaging and original condition.
Return delivery cost must be covered by yourself.
Original delivery cost will be deducted from your refund unless we are at fault by supplying incorrect or faulty goods.

Bisque Direct Ltd. do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund,. Do this by contacting us by email and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days of receipt of goods. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned must be in original packaging and saleable condition.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
